Unity of metaphysical Search and scientific Research
In the traditions of the Wisdom Teachings we find the testimony of a world view which distinguishes itself by the unity of metaphysical and scientific research.

as an impulse to renew once again the idea of true “universitas“
- the universality of an integral world view characterized by the essential
unity of metaphysical search and scientific research as complementary
aspects for the discovery of the operation of the general laws of reality.

The unitiy of metaphysical and scientific research was the hallmark of advanced civilisations at all times. Today we have a unique opportunity to realise such a synthesis anew. We are living in a fascinating time of new discoveries: the new sciences come up with new models which correspond to a remarkable extend with the world view of the Wisdom Teachings. Leading scientific research formulates as well: the universe is an indivisible dynamic whole with all parts being in mutual relationship with each other. The material universe of visible creation derives its existence from a hidden sea of energy. This insight of integral science is found in the Wisdom Teachings of all advanced cultures: Spirit has been described as the highest sublimation of matter, and matter as a crystallization of spirit.
The present time has the potential to develop into the beginning of a new cultural era, with the characteristic quality of integral science.
The Foundation World Cultural Heritage of the Wisdom Teachings has the
objective to promote impulses contributing to the development of an integral
scientific model.
